The SC Dept of Archives and History used to put out a pamphlet <> < from
maps in SC County Inventories made by the WPA Historical Records
Survey>. I see no date on the copy I have but it is not new. You might
query the SC Archives about the availability of this. Hopefully it will
answer some o your questions.
Also I have seen mome of this also reproduced in various SC gen guides.
As an example, Brent Holcomb some time ago put out a book [pamphlet]
<> which includes such map
