I got this information from the Charleston, SC library from the Will Books and
Miscellaneous Records:
CHARLESTON MISC. RECORDS-1714-1717
Indenture -2nd day of March 1715 between John Garret of the parish of St.
Andrew Holburn in the County of Middlesex, carpenter and joyner and William
Hodges of the Six Clerks office in the Chancery Lane, London, Gentleman.
He will serve for 4 years after arriving- John says he is 25 years old, a
single person.
Recorded July 18, 1716.
