I have a Banks family in my McManus line. He died a number of years back, but his wife is still living. His son and daughter
also live here. I am in touch with the daughter often. If you give me some names, I will check with her. There were many
Griffins/Griffis in SC, but not sure if any Griffen/Banks marriages.

Sara ,in doing Griffens in South Carolina ,have you run into any
Griffen/Banks marriages? My Banks ancestors came thru the Old 96 District to
Tennessee and the Griffen name shows up several times as Solomon Griffen,or
just Griffen.Any ideas would be appreciated.Alan R LeMay
