<< Elle,
What year did the person die? The SC Archives have death certs from
1915-1947.
 I
am planning on going to the Archives on Tuesday so if the date of death is
 between those
years I can look it up for you and see if it is there.

Hi Terry,
Thanks with all my heart for your offer I help. I appreciate it so much!

The person was my grandmother, India Mary PRESSLEY LOWRY CHAMBERS. (The
PRESSLEY was her maiden name, LOWRY was her first husband, my grandfather,
and CHAMBERS was her second husband after my grandfather died.) I guess that
she would be listed as India CHAMBERS, perhaps using one of the other names
as a middle name.)

Anyway, she died in May 1924. The infant who is listed in the Georgia Death
Index died on May 7, 1924. I think India died around May 21. I am wondering
whether they then took India to a hospital after the baby was born and died.
Some of my other Georgia relatives were taken to SC hospitals when they got
sick because they lived so close to the line. India lived in Habersham
County at the time of her death.

Thank you again so much. If you have time to look for this, I will greatly
appreciate it. If you run out of time, I will understand. Time does go so
quickly when you are doing this kind of research!
Elle
