I don't mean to be picky, just passing on information...The first cattle 
ranch in the U.S. was established by the ALVAREZ family in florida in the 
early 15oo's an stretched from St. Augustine to what is now known as 
Pansacola, and what is now known as route #10 was the main cattle trail 
through the "ranch".

We have copies of the original documents, wherein the Edwards family 
purchased land that was still owned from the original Alvarez family in 
1850 and its purchase validated by the signature of President James 
Buchanan...
My wife's cousin Maurice Edwards presently owns one of the largest Brahma 
bull ranches in Florida...
