Subject: SC Counties From: Jwmmjjj Date: March 06, 1999 In researching one of my ancestral lines I've found printed info indicating that this line moved to GA from Sampson and Duplin County, SC. I know that SC has no counties by that name at the present, but did couties by those names exist in the late 1700/early 1800 timeframe? I know that NC has counties by those names and feel the author simply got mixed up, though it appears several times.
