Since it appears that many of us have ancestors that were either found under a
cabbage leaf or dropped hear from some other planet then I am dropping mine
here too.

Nathaniel Cobb, b 1801 Abbeville, SC, m. Lurannah Teague (d/o Elijah Teague
and Sarah Morgan) and moved with a James H. Cobb to Franklin Co, GA about
1827-1830.  He had a few children there and then went to Benton Co, now
Calhoun Co, AL where he raised his family, married a Rachel Bentley and then
had more children.  He died at about age 89 in Calhoun Co, AL.

Another Nathaniel Cobb was b. abt 1743-1750 in ? VA, maybe.  He died 1785 in
Union Co, SC (or at least his will was probated there in 1814).  I know that
he did not die in 1814, his wife was left the estate and when she died, around
this time, the estate was probated and recorded.  The top half of his will is
missing but we know from other records that he had more than one son, Edmund,
Henry and James H.  Daughters were Fanny, Elizabeth or Betty (named after her
mother), Mary who m. William Rogers, Sarah who m. James Lummus, Nancy who m.
Henry Davis, and Margaret who m. Samuel Campbell.

Isn't there anyone out there that connects to these Cobbs?
