Here are some USGenWeb Cencus Project urls. For those of you who are having
problems finding some of the census records that may have disappeared from
Rootsweb. There was a bit of a problem about a year or so ago with a few
people at Rootsweb. The US GenWeb Census project took the Censuses that had
been transcribed and moved them to a different server. If I am not
mistaken....the USGenWebArchives Project tried to take control and were
making some changes to uploads without the transcribers permission....or
something along that line....this is why the Project moved to a new
server....sooo there were two groups working to transcribe. The original
Census Project can be found at the urls below. Hope this helps some of you!
I haven't been to the site in a while so I cannot tell you what all is
there.
