Could someone advise me as to whether you need permission from a land owner
to protect and preserve an old cemetery located on their land?  And is
their an organization that tries to locate and preserve any of the old
cemeteries?  I know of a family cemetery on private land and having a bit
of difficulty trying to find someone to clean the overgrowth out and
preserve the Confederate and Masonic markers in it.
