Hi Steve,

Thanks a million for the information about
Maple Swamp. I think that you have probably
found the right Maple Swamp. I know that the
families I am looking for were in that particular
area at the time. There are some more Maple
Swamp streams and such but they are in Horry
Co., and Marion Co., SC. I was wanting to find
Maple Swamp more in the district that you
mentioned.

I have looked on some very old maps and it wasn't
on them either. :-) It was probably just a very small
branch or something :-)

Thanks for the time and trouble. I really do appreciate
it. I would also like to thank you again for all of the
wonderful posts that you have been sending to the
SC RootsWeb list. I'm keeping everyone of them.
They are very helpful to lots of people.

Sincerely,
Lyndal Curington Power

 Hi,

I have seen your post on the SC Roots mailing list. Thank
you for taking the time to post so many great pieces
of information to the list. I, for one, really do
appreciate
 it.

I was wondering since you seem to know a lot about
SC, have you every heard of the MAPLE SWAMP
BRANCH WATERS of REEDY RIVER. On a deed
in 1785 it is listed as being in the 96th District.

Well, as you well know, that was a pretty big district.
I would like to find out where it would be exactly in
the district. Is there anyway I can find that out? I
haven't
been able to find any old maps that show it. I find the
REEDY/READY River but can't find MAPLE SWAMP
 BRANCH WATERS.

Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read this message.

 Sincerely
 Lyndal Curington Power
