I am seeking information on the families of Samuel Oates and Fanny
Cannon.
Samuel Oates was born in North Carolina 4/Feb/1760. He died without a will in
South Carolina perhaps Darlington 1801. He and Fanny Oates had the following
children
Mary, Elizabeth, Henry Wyatt, Samuel K., William, James C., and Mary. Stephen
Oates is Samuel's brother he is mentioned in the book the Darlingtonians. He
married Pharibey Carraway in 1783. They had twelve children he died also
without a will in 1817 in South Carolina. If there is doing research on these
