Subject: SALTER family in SC, AL, MS, TX From: Mary Lou Lisenbe Date: February 13, 1998 My ancestor, William I/J SALTER was born somewhere in SC in 1818. He and his wife, Nancy (HUNT?), were in AL between 1842 and 1848. They were in Kemper Co., MS in 1850, Lauderdale Co., MS in 1860, Neshoba Co., MS in 1880, in Franklin Co., TX in 1893.
