Subject: S.C. Plantations From: Ginger Hederer Date: October 14, 1999 I have been told that my gggrandfather had a plantation called "Muddy Creek" or "Muddy Bottom" in Georgetown South Carolina. Would anybody have know about this plantation or direct me on how I can research it. I do not have the dates of my ancestors, but their name was Johnnie/Johnny Rhames married to Mary Ann Roberson. The story told to me was that Johnny died coming home from the civil war and that his wife lost the plantation to carpetbaggers. If any body can help me please contact me.
