Fellow listmembers,

Have just sub'd to your list.  I have tracked an elusive gr. grandfather to
a S.C. Birth. Have no idea what Co.  He was Anthony Lally.  Born in S.C.,
but parents, (names unknown) born in Ireland.
Anthony was born in/or about 1840-41-42.  I have a form sent to me by the
state of Massachusetts, when they discoved he was from SC.
But appears that the South Carolina Dept. of Health and Environmental
Control, only maintains records starting at 1915 to 1941.  Based on this
info, does ANNYONE 
have an idea where I start?
