ROLL CALL: CHARLESTON - Deborah Cuffy
Subject: ROLL CALL: CHARLESTON
From: Deborah Cuffy
Date: August 15, 2000

My Charleston relatives were originally from Saint Domingue arriving as
early as the mid-1790's through 1810. They remained in Charleston until
about 1900 when I lose track of them. My direct ancestors moved to
Philadelphia during the Civil War.
	The names are:
LACOMBE/LECOMBE, BOISDON/BOISEDON/BOISDOM, ASPINALL/ASPINWALL, DEVINE,
LAPONT

Any information--anything at all [REALLY]--would be more than appreciated.
I'm really struggling with maiden names, but need to spend some time in St
Mary's records. Also would like to know what ship they arrived on, which
might tell me what part of Saint Domingue they were from.

	ANY information would be appreciated.
