Subject: ROLL CALL: CHARLESTON From: Deborah Cuffy Date: August 15, 2000 My Charleston relatives were originally from Saint Domingue arriving as early as the mid-1790's through 1810. They remained in Charleston until about 1900 when I lose track of them. My direct ancestors moved to Philadelphia during the Civil War. The names are: LACOMBE/LECOMBE, BOISDON/BOISEDON/BOISDOM, ASPINALL/ASPINWALL, DEVINE, LAPONT Any information--anything at all [REALLY]--would be more than appreciated. I'm really struggling with maiden names, but need to spend some time in St Mary's records. Also would like to know what ship they arrived on, which might tell me what part of Saint Domingue they were from.
