I agree with Jim Leviner. The list has been awfully quiet lately, but so
have they all. A "Roll Call" will sometimes stimulate a list, especially if
there are any new people on it.

My lines are in the northeastern part of SC so close to the NC state line
that my family subscribed to the Charlotte Observer rather than the Columbia
"State " paper.

Alford (NC>SC), Bundy (NC>SC), Goodwin (NC>SC)DONALDSON (1745-1780), MacLeod
(1770+Cape Fear >Marlboro), PATRICK (1812-1890), EVANS, (Welsh Neck group),
Vining, Pledger, PEARSON (1600+Va.>NC>SC), BRIGHT (NC>SC), Haskew, Hubbard,
Fields, Chiles, MEDLIN, THOMAS, LITTLE, MACRAE, MCTYER.

My husband's lines are in the southern part of the state:
HARLEY, RICHARDSON, JENKINS, JAUDON, JACKSON, BRADLEY, CREECH,CAVE,
WRIGHT,ROBERT, CHOVIN, HUMMEL, SMITH (THE RIGHT HONORABLE THOMAS SMITH,
LANDGRAVE OF THE CAROLINAS 1648-1694), DIXON, MCKEITHEN (NC>.SC), BOONE,
with most of these people in the area between Barnwell Co. to Charleston Co,
with some Colleton and Hampton thrown in.

I also will be glad to do look-ups in A COMPILATION OF THE ORIGINAL LISTS OF
PROTESTANT IMMIGRANTS TO SC 1763-1773, by Janie Revill. It is a small book,
and well indexed. There are a lot of names in this small book even though
the time frame of only ten years is dealt with. You may ask for as many
names as you like, but please only two at a time. The only information it
deals with is the list of people, their ages, the ship they were on, and how
much land they were given and where it is located (sometimes), such as "near
the Long Canes or on the Savannah river".
