Subject: Roll Call - FINDLEY / FINLEY in Edgefield or Abbeville From: Neil & Ruth Jaeger Date: August 15, 2000 Census records indicate Owen, Charles, Ed, Evan & Elisha Benjamin FINDLEY / FINLEY were all born in SC, probably Edgefield or Abbeville district/county in first decade of 1800's. Interested in any information about them, especially trying to document their parentage. Some researchers say they are the sons of Charles Edward FINLEY and Nancy Ann OWENS, however census ages do not jive with marriage date of 1811 claimed (but can't find documentation) for Charles Edward and Nancy Ann.
