Charles (Bonedigger),

Would your MILLERs and NEELYs have lived in Charleston in
the early 1800's?

I have some info on families of MILLER and NEEL that lived
in Charleston.

Jesse NELL b. 1754 Va. m. Ursulla BROWN, 1795 Chas, SC.

There is a letter that states the NELL name was once NEEL.

The Historical Society's Brown folder contained a letter
that indicated that the Brown's, Miller's, and Clastrier's
were somehow related and lived on Quince st.:

1801 John Brown, Rigger, 0 Quince
1802 Maxemellian Clastrier -Listed as Starch Mfg. at 22
Quince
1806 Sarah Brown, Shop Keeper, 21 Quince

Also, Henretta is a very short street and has in the street
directory:

1829 William Stephen Nell, Grist Store
1835 Stephen Clastrier, Carpenter
1836 Andrew Flinn Nell

Sarah CLATRIES (Clastrier) m. Jacob MILLER in 31st Dec. 1808
Chas. SC.

Sarah CLASTRIER m. John "Nickols" SCOFIELD c. 1846 SC.
(Richland Co Census 1850).
