I decided to run our BIG MARSHALL PUZZLE by again:

We are searching for the Father of ROBERT L MARSHALL b ca 1775 Halifax, NC.
He was known to be a cousin of Chief Justice John.  This is not old family
lore, but was mentioned contemorarily in old letters, which did not say how
they were related. If you know of the family of Robert L MARSHALL, please
contact me.  Since his descendants moved to Camden, SC, I am also posting at
