Steve,
You said that if the obit had an original poem in it that it would be
copyrighted. If you were to put just the facts in a book ,would this be
breakinig copyright laws? I have seen books that are written about death
notices and it has been a big help to find these. sometimes I would
probably not have found some of my family if it had not been for the
books. I had thought about trying to put together one for my area, not
to make money but I would at least have to have printing cost. I would
not want to do this if it would be breaking any laws. I wanted it to be
something that would be around a long time and not just do look ups for
a few weeks. I really do not have the time to do a lot of look ups. I
would like to help when i can but my time is limited. Any help would be
appreciated
Jan
