I am seeking contact with anyone who might have information about my great,
great great grandfather, THOMAS RICHARDSON.  Does anyone have any
information on these people?


THOMAS RICHARDSON was born 17 June 1810, Chatteris, Cambridgshire, and died
21 November 1887, Minonk, Woodford County, Illinois. He married his second
cousin, RACHAEL RICHARDSON, in 1831. She was born in 1815 in England and
died in 1871 in Marshall County, Illinois.

THOMAS RICHARDSON and his wife, RACHAEL RICHARDSON, had four sons and seven
daughters. Children included the following:


SARAH RICHARDSON, born 27 January 1833, Combs, Chatteris, Cambridgeshire,
PRISCILLA RICHARDSON, born 06 May 1834,

MARTHA RICHARDSON, born 11 July 1836 at Ramsey, Huntingdonshire,

JOHANNA RICHARDSON, born 26 November 1838

EBENEZER RICHARDSON, born 11 November 1842, Chestershire,

MARIAM (Minnie) RICHARDSON, born 24 February 1845

JOSEPH RICHARDSON, born 09 February 1847

EZRA RICHARDSON, born 13 January 1849, Wistow, Huntingdonshire,

ESTHER RICHARDSON, born 14 November 1850

LILLAH RICHARDSON, born 06 November 1852

JESSIE RICHARDSON, born 16 August 1855, Illinois

On April 4, 1853, THOMAS RICHARDSON and his family sailed from Liverpool on
the sailing vessel, "Great Western". The "Great Western" took two months to
make the trip landing at New York on June 3, 1853. Following their arrival
in the United States, the family lived for six months in Evansville, Indiana
before finally settling in Marshall County, Illinois.
