I am not researching this person but saw an interesting article that
may interest others---
The Piedmont Chapter of SAR will honor him at a grave marking on
October 2 in Acworth.Georgia.
John was b.9Dec.1760 in Maryland, served in the S.C.Militia and
the Va. troops, married Phebe Sailors on 30 Nov.1786, and died 8 March
1852.
Any descendants that can be located will be honored guests at the
ceremony.
