John McWhorter was born1749 Alabermarle Co Va (parents not stated) her
servedin the Rev War, ad later ived in Casey Co Kentucky Vol in the
Union Dist S.C. served 2yr 3 mth as private in Capt Thompsons Co
His first wife was a miss Jasper John asper Sr Pulaski Co Ky., de., 1838
that he was born 13 Feb 1768 and waswell aqainted with John McWhorter
who by his first mar,was Jaspers Bro in law,
He m 14 April 1784 Union Dist S.. Elizabeth( last name not given) she
was allowed a pension on appl of 23 Jan 1839 when living in Casey Co
Kentucky age 76 yr her husband had been allwed a pension when in same
co,; he d 7 June 1833 .In 1840 Elizabeth McWhorter moved to Mo and lived
with 2 s's and 2 dau ( names not given)she d  in Ry Co Mo about
1842;only ch designated were Dau Sally Pigg 53 yr age and Robert
McWhorter age not stated In 1840 Lewis Pigg Ray Co Mo wrote in case but
relatonship to da Sally not stated
(there are only 3 John McWhorters(mcWhirter) from S C who appear on P
700 of index as accepted Rev War Sods,also one Aaron one George  and one
James from N.C and one James from S.C.
