Pinckney Alexander Norwood, prob. born Colleton Co., So. C.
Nov.3,1861. Married there poss. Mary who died young. M. 2nd
Rose(Rosemond) Wilson or Hargroves, 3 dgts., Lottie m. Myers; Ruby Lee
m. Bass Fletcher; Mary Louise m. Collins and Sam Yeomans. A son George
died at 4yrs. .#3 rd wife was Loker Mae Shirley(Sherly) Aug.28,1902 in
Putnam Co., Florida. Ch.; 4girls and 4 boys. Third ch. was Alice Mae
Norwood, b. Jan. 1906. She will be 95 next month. If you see any
connections to these families at proper Census times, I would like to
know. A Norwood family with Pinckney as a young man may still be with
his parents in 1860 prior to marriage in '61. Is there a State Census
for So.C. in 1885? They would have been in same area(Early Branch,
Whitehall) for 1870 Census also.
Hope to hear from someone!! Thanks, Doris Brown
