thanks for responding to my inquiry.  From what i have been told from my
grandfather, John Rinehart (born 1796 died 02-25-1855) married Sarah Kinard,
the daughter of Frederick Kinard and Elizabeth Chapman.  To this union, they
had a large number of children, including three sets of twins.  John Rinehart
would be my  4 great grandfather.  According to a newspaper article that I was
given, it does not list a record of  a R(h)ineharts in the 1790 census, but
does list a variant spelling of a Matthias Ranehart.
