the Anderson and GA connections of your family, it seems a possibility. These 
folks moved all over Upstate SC.

This is from my father's research, so I can't say where these details came 
From (probably census, but I don't know where he got Tom Reid from), except 
to say I tried without success to order Willie Alice (Reid) Ferguson's death 
certificate. The son (Martin Luther Ferguson) of Willie Alice and Thomas 
Ansel was b. in Anderson Co., SC. They followed cotton mill work where it was 
available.
