Does anyone have a Mercer in SC circa 1785-1800? I have a Rev. John

Pat: My ggggrandmother was Elizabeth Mercer, b. 24 March 1769, d. 4 Aug
1828, buried Jones Cemetery, near Salley, South Carolina, with her husband
Jeremiah Jones and other descendants. Eloise Jones, author of "History
Jeremiah Jones", said "It is the opinion of the author that Elizabeth
Mercer, was the daughter or granddaughter of Thomas Mercer, Sr., Of
Darlington District; she was evidently a descendant, as the Joneses and
Mercers were neighbors..." I have other Mercer family info which I will
send directly to you.
