I just ran across this in a newsletter after reading the question about
maps, and so I concider it appropriate for use here.

FREE ONLINE MAPS THIS WEEK AT ANCESTRY.COM!

All 620 maps, normally only available to subscribers to
Ancestry.com, will be free to all visitors through Thursday, July
23. Find your ancestor's whereabouts at:

I also use this site for maps around the 1895 period . These are quite large
but have excellent details and info.
