I was not aware that there was a MM in Charleston and would be interest to learn more about this. Mention is made in a later message that many of the Quakers left NC and SC. Often the names of their MMs went with them and a possible clue in tracing the moves of Quakers is to look for similar MM names in PA, Ohio, IN and elsewhere.
