Bulloch, M.D. (Is this a "legit" genealogy or one of the less than scrupulously researched ones?) "I came across a book today published in 1908 By J. G. B. Bulloch, M.D. titled "The Cuthberts, Barons of Castle Hill and Their Descendants in South Carolina and Georgia. Listed in this book is the 2nd marriage of James Hazzard Cuthbert to a Fanny Furze. I think this is the Ann Furse I have been looking for. James was first married to Sarah Barnwell, daughter of Nathaniel Barnwell and Mary. They Had three children, James H., m. Eliza Barnwell, John Alexander m Mary Williamson, and Robert B. James and Fannie had Lucius m Anne Barnwell second Charlotte Fuller, Edward, MD m Louisa Screven and George who married Charlotte Barnwell. James' father was Dr. James Cuthbert fourth son of John Cuthbert, Baron of Castlehill and Jean Hay married first Patience Hamilton, widow, daughter of James Stobo and his wife Elizabeth married second Mary Hazzard widow of Edward Wigg and daughter of Major William Hazzard.
