William PURSLEY to Eli HENDERSON.  Deed of Conveyance.  The State of South 
Carolina

Know all men by these presents that I, William PURSLEY of the District of 
Edgefield in the state aforesaid in consideration of the sum of three hundred 
Dollars to me paid by Eli HENDERSON of the State and District aforesaid Have 
granted bargained sold and released and by these presents do grant bargain 
sell and release unto the said Eli HENDERSON All that tract of land lying 
situate in the District aforesaid on Beaverdam, Waters of Savannah River 
being ninety nine acres more or less and Bounded as follows South by 
GREENINGs land West by William HOLLIDAYs land North by STALLWORTHs land EAST 
byThomas HENDERSONs land.  Together with all and singular the rights members 
hereditaments and appurtenances to the said premises belonging or in any wise 
incident or Appurtaining To Have and to Hold all and singular the premises 
before mentioned unto the said Eli HENDERSON his heirs and assigns 
forever-and I do hereby bind myself my heirs Executors and Administrators to 
Warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises unto the said 
Eli HENDERSON his heirs and assigns against myself and my heirs and against 
every person whomsoever lawfully claimimg or to claim the same or any part 
thereof  Witness my hand and seal this Eighth of November in the year of our 
Lord one thousand Eight hundred and five and the twenty Ninth year of the 
Independence of the United States of America.  Signed sealed and delivered In 
the presence of William HOLLIDAY, John GLOVER.  William (his M mark) PURSLEY

South Carolina  Edgefield District.  Personally came William HOLLIDAY before 
me and being duly sworn saith that he saw William PURSLEY sign by making his 
mark to the within Deed and acknowledgeing his act and Deed for the use and 
purpose therein mentioned and that he saw John GLOVER subscribe his name with 
himself as witnesses to the due Execution thereof - Sworn to before me this 
10th day of April 1813.  William HOLLIDAY.  Recorded this 13th day of May 
1813.
