Subject: Probate documents for Charleston County From: Lori Christian Date: February 23, 1999 Does anyone know where probate documents from the mid-1800's might be, if they even exist. I have copies of a couple wills from the Charleston County willbooks, but when I called the Probate Court to enquire about the original wills and related documents, I was told they don't have them and don't know where they might be.
