I recently received a GEDCOM from a distant cousin (new to genealogy) who had
included the addresses, phone numbers and some social security numbers of
living persons in his notes.  I, of course, deleted all of this personal
information and e-mailed him that he should make a separate file to send to
others without this information included.  What if this had fallen into the
wrong hands?
