I am curious as to what kinds of resources I can look at for finding 
people before 1850.  The census information doesn't list family members 
before the 1850 census.  I am pretty new to this whole genealogy thing, 
but I am learning quickly.

If area is important then I am looking at Chester and Union counties of 
SC.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
