I am posting surnames MEMMINGER,MIDDLETON,PINCKNEY,MAZYCK.
I am  looking for the birth and death dates of  children of Hon.
Christopher Gustavus
MEMMINGER and Mary  Wilkinson  Memminger.(Thomas Bennett,Robert Withers,

Christopher Gustavus,Allard,Edward R,Ellen,Mary and Virginia)  As far as
I know
all were born in Charleston,SC.
  Also, I have  an Obit. stating that a  Lucy Wilkinson Memminger
PINCKNEY died of
Diptheria  and was the daughter of Hon. Christopher Gustavus MEMMINGER.
The
Obit. was hand dated 1874 or 1879, I can't tell which.  She is not
listed among his
children in his March Obit. of 1888.  Can someone tell me where she fits
in.
I will be traveling to Charleston,SC in Oct. of this year and hope to
find out a lot
more.  I will only have 2 or 3 days there.  I live in the USVirgin
Islands and do not
have access to a very good Library and do most of my research via
e-mail,snail-mail and the internet. This is all quite new to me
