Just remember that there are many of us in the "silent majority" who read 
your postings with interest whether we get any direct information or not.  
Those grinches who complain are in the minority by far.

I would suggest to them that they not subscribe to this list but rather 
subscribe to the surname lists that relate to their research.

Personally, I am subscribed to several lists and some days get quite a lot 
of mail to wade through but I love every bit of it.  Who knows when 
something I need will show up in one of those seemingly unrelated postings?
