Hello again, Don,

Someone on this list, I believe, mentioned the genealogy files compiled
in the 1940's by by the professional genealogist, Leonardo Andrea. I'd
gotten some very useful Andrea files on one line of my family back in
1995 and decided to access the site listed for the index of those files
today. PINSON is among the names under "P" in the Files section of that
index.

Initially, I had no luck accessing the Andrea index site I'd saved from
the recent e-mail. The way I finally got through was by deleting a
portion of that address, accessing:
and then entering a search for
Leonardo Andrea. Lots of "hits" came up, but the first one was all I
needed.

Alternatively, you might want to send a letter requesting the
photocopying, shipping and handling costs for the PINSON file(s) to:

Manuscripts Curator
South Caroliniana Library
University of South Carolina
Columbia, SC

I don't have an e-mail address for the South Caroliniana Library, but
you might find it at .

Finally, depending on where you live, "You may also request the records
through your local Family History Center [FHC], a genealogical library
of the Church of Latter-Day Saints," according to the Andrea site. I
won't bet my life on it, but you may be able to find the FHC nearest you
at: or by e-mailing:

Good luck to you.
