I have info on William Peebles and back. There is a little on info on
William who moved to Alabama in the later 1820's and appears in the Henry Co.
census there in 1830. He took with him his father, who had become blind and
his mother.  His children by his first wife were all b. S.C., Isham b. 1803;
Wiley and Riley twins b. 1806 and Nancy who age 44 and 55 was with William in
1850 and 1860. William Wesley only child of 2nd wife was b. 11/5/1856 in Ala.

I have a bit more on them. Are you more interested in William and his father
and brothers or in the Coxwell/Blankenship connection? Let me know and I try
to snail mail you or fax you the info I have if you e-mail me and address or
number. Good Luck. I, too am a PEEPLES through my mother. Your William's
father and my g-g-g-g-g-gfather were brothers (Isham of Beaufort). Isham and
Lewis (of Kershaw) father was Abraham who was from Virginia. Looking forward
to hearing from you.
