William Hunt was born 1763 in Bedford Co., VA. to the "father of the
fourteen" (Thomas Hunt?)  Benjamin Hawkins was a famous Indian agent and was
the contemporary of William, I would guess.  His grandaughter (Hawkin's),
Cherokee Carr, married Wm. Hunt's grandson, Calvin Jones Hunt in Yalobusha
Co., MS on 21 Oct. 1854.  Felicia
