Subject: OSMAN From: JEAN PRATHER Date: May 11, 1998 Today as I stood looking across the marsh the wind was gently blowing,and the trees were gently swing in the breeze. the water looked lso beautifull weaving in and out of the many streamlets that wind in and out of the paths trickling down to the river and out to sea. it is so peacefull and quiet, only a few remnants remain of the people who lived their so long ago. A mother sleeps there with her infant child in her arms. and a young man who did not make through his youth. the red brick crypt still stands. forgotten by most,but not by me, because I alway take the time to say hello and say a prayer for them. and I know they do not feel forgotten .Sometimes I drop a flower on their grave. I do not know if anyone ever visits them,or even knows they are there.They have been there on Marrington Plantation buried 1828.
