[6]  In/memory of/S. Beckham/aged 45 years/3 mo. 24 days./Calm on the
bosom of thy God,/Fair spirit rest thee now/Risen while on earth thy
footsteps trod/His seal was on thy brow./Dust to its narrow house

This reminds me, too......I am still HOPING to find others who are
researching the family of GAY in Lancaster/Kershaw Counties......I have
found very little on them, and need help [please, no snide remarks]......
