I have been hoping to run across a Canal site but not specifically looking
for it.
Well today I found, I feel, a good Canal Site I found a map, discription on
how a canal lock works, pictures as some look today and plans for the future
in saving what is left of these throfares on water.  I have been in it and it
is chuck full of links, I found a map in one in Wisconcin.  Another mode of
travel that was used by our immigrating ancestors.   Beej in Az
