    Would like to hear about your Mitchell's.  Do you have anything on
Martha Michell who married William Cole?  She had a son by her first
marriage named Harris or Harrison.

| Soldier from Anson County, NC.  I believe two of his sons were
| Isaac and Joshua L. Nichols who served in the War of 1812 from
| Salem County.  SC counties kept evolving and by 1820 all of these
| men were living in Sumter County, SC.  I don't believe they ever
| moved, the county names were just changed.  The area where they
| lived would now be in Lee County.

| I'm researching the Mitchells, Fords and Walkers of Laurens County,
| SC.  All these people lived in the vicinity  of Poplar Springs Church
| in Laurens County.  They were all in Laurens by 1800.
