Dear William
I am descended from John Tolleson and Amy DeHart through their daughter,
Lovicy Tolleson who married Richard Kirby in SC. And Ity Kirby, their
daughter, who married Lemuel White, of Spartanburg County, also.
Most of my work was done on the Kirby line my I do have some abstracts
of data on the Tolleson family, descending from John.
Nowhere have I ever found that Sarah Tolleson was the daughter of
Erasmus. Where did that come from and could I have a copy of the
citation for my records. To my knowledge ( and I haven't worked on this
line in 10 or 12 years) Erasmus and John have not been proven to be
connected. Has someone made a breakthrough that I don't know about, too?
