I just subscribed and received many messages today.  
I am searching for the family (parents) of my husband's great
grandfather, Isaac Pool.  He was born about 1820 in SC but I have no
idea the county.  Isaac Pool married Mary Connell 13 Oct 1841 in
Jefferson County, GA.  His family is listed on GA census of 1860.  It
shows children: Georgia Ann Pool age 17, Narcissa Pool age 14, Michael
Ebenezer Pool age 12, Martha age 8 Isaac Cornelius Pool age 7, John
McFarland Pool age 6, M. B. (female)age 3 and Horace Ross Pool age 1.
The family says that Isaac fought in the Civil War.  I have not been
able to find him or his family on a census since 1860.  Michael Ebenezer
Pool was grandfather of my husband.  He married Mary Henrietta Kilcrease
they lived in Monroe County, MS and had the following children:  
Lucy Amanda Pool b 27 July 1875, she married Franklin Leslie Rye,
Peter Rufus Pool b 16 May 1877 who married Lula Jones, 
William Michael Pool b 24 July 1870 who married Ira Mae Wells.  William
Michael and Ira Mae are parents of my husband, Henry Clinton Poole. 
If any body can help I surely will appreciate it.  I would like to know
who the parents of Isaac were.
