Subject: New list for religious dissenters in colonial SC
From: Deborah Byrd
Date: August 21, 2000

I have a new mailing focusing on the Religious Dissenters of Colonial
South Carolina 1680 - 1781. Most of them arrived in the Colony
between 1680 and 1696. They were members of the Quaker,
Congregational, Presbyterian, and The Scotch Church in Charleston.
Would like the list to focus on the history and the families. The
families lived at Cainhoy, Dorchester, Will Town/New London, St. James
Goosecreek, Pon Pon, Beech Hill, Wapetcaw(sp) Esditio River,
Charleston etc. Names include Russ, Singletary, Fowler, Osgood,
Ladson, Hamilton, Dunham/Donnam, Martin, Gibbon, Spry, Hendrick, Webb,
Furgusson, Bee, Bower, Peters, Peacock, Way, Stobo, Sacherville,
Baker, Fabian, Dean, Lord, Hayne, Starling etc. Families associated
with them include some of the Balls, Frierson, Murriel, Ladson,
Mckelvey.
