I have an ancestor George BELL who received a land grant in NC in
January of 1775. This land was later shown as part of Craven Co, SC,
then as Camden District, SC, and finally as Chester Co, SC. Can anyone
tell me in what county or district the original NC grant was PROBABLY
made?
