Subject: RE: MIMS From: Anne Crocker Date: May 31, 2000 One small query on the MIMS of SC lines: An old family letter throws out the idea that one of the DODD sisters in early (pre-Revolutionary? or immediately after) SC or perhaps already in Loudoun Co., VA, area married a MIMS. Does anyone have the name DODD in conjunction with MIMS? The DODDs were a Quaker family who moved from PA to VA ca 1741 and then came down to Union/Newberry/Laurens ca 1768 with allied families NORMAN and GORE and BOBO. By 1830 they were moving again into Fayette/Campbell Co, GA, and Marshall Co., AL. The MIMS connection escapes me.
