 Hello all!

Just saw Charles message and thought I might be able to shed some light on the books, etc. listed:

My Mother's Family Tree by Wanda Heffelfinger (unpub)

Our Family Circle(OFC), rev ed., compiled by Annie Elizabeth Miller, Macon GA, Pub by the Lawton andd Allied Families Association, Hilton Head Island, SC, 1987. Originally cw in 1931, the rev ed is MUCH improved.

BTW there is no index, but a separate index is avail for purchase (different source)

There are no listings for your Sara(h) or Nathaniel or Samuel in OFC.

John Milo Miller, believed to be son of Nathaniel, is first gen. listed.

John C.

Charles, Don't know if you subscribe to the GA rootsweb list or not.
>Anyway
one member has been posting info from newpapers and recently I saw this
 posted:

 GA Journal 1809 - 1818
23 March 1814 Montgomery Co. GA
Sarah Miller has applied for letters of administration on the estate of
 Nathaniel Miller.
 signed D. Thompson, CCO

I have told you before that I am interested in Millers because one of the
children (Mary Amarintha Polly CLARK) of my ggg Grandfather (John CLARK)
married a Samuel MILLER in 1827 in Laurens or Montgomery County GA. This
Clark family came to Laurens/Montgomery County from Burke Co. and were in
Burke Co about the same time as your Nathaniel Miller. So is it possible
that my Samuel is the son of your Nathaniel? Sandy [email protected]
