Does anyone out there have any info on the Milford Plantation or the
Manning Family slaves around the 1860's or maybe the late 1850 period? I
believe it was located the Sumter Co., S. Carolina area and that some of
my ancestors may have been enslaved there. I saw something concerning a
slave there named Uncle Ben Pleasant and I believe that one of his
relatives was enumerated with an Eli Harrison in one of the Sumter Co.
Census lists. This Eli Harrison may be related to my Harrison line out
